Wasatch Railroad Contractors (WRC) began as a business called Wasatch Boiler Repair, which was founded in Heber City, Utah in June of 1999 as an independent boiler repair company.
Wasatch Boiler Repair later expanded into WRC and broadened its scope of expertise. WRC itself provides contract labor services. WRC has performed contract services in several areas of the US and Europe.
As of this writing, WRC begins another venture, this time in the area of miniature live steam with an emphasis on 15-inch gauge locomotives similar to historic Cagney Class “D” locomotives which were originally built at the turn of the 20th century. This venture offers ready-to-run locomotives, locomotive maintenance and repair services, parts replacement, railroad installation, and complete train sets.
WRC is a fully insured corporation. The privately held company is overseen by a fully functioning Board of Directors, all shares are privately held and are not currently sold or traded.
